How much can I expect to get paid for my item(s)?
How is payment made for my item(s) that sell?
We only accepts the best designer brands. There are many brands out there, please see the "Brands We Sell" page for a list of currently in demand brand names. This is just a sample, if you do not see a brand you have questions about, please contact us for more information.
At White Elephant, we take care to provide our customers high quality services personalized for their unique needs. We are available to take your order 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Our staff members are professional, courteous and efficient.
For online pay 40% of the selling price. For consignees at our Lake Oswego location, accepted items may qualify for 50-60% depending on the item. Please contact us for more information. 

For online clients, payment is made once a month with your choice of receiving payment via PayPal, or paper check, or in store credit.
How will I know if my item(s) have sold?
​After processing is complete, you will receive a personal web log in to view the status of their inventory at any given time 7 days a week 24 hours a day. Your personal log in information will be on your confirmation email once your items have been received.

What is the consignment timeframe? Are there markdowns?
We will showcase your accepted items for up to 90 days, we will discount after 30, 60 and 90 days. If after 90 days your items have not sold, they can be retrieved or donated per your contract terms. Retrieval of your unsold items must be within the last 30 days of the consignment period, and is the responsibility of the consignee. We ask that consignments that have been received and processed, not be retrieved for at least 60 days.
What happens to unsold items?
The types of items we sell are top ticket items that are currently in demand. We give your item 90 days to sell, if at that time the item has not sold after 2 /30 day incremental discount periods, you can then have your items returned to you with 100% cost to you, or donated to charity. We do our best to contact our consignees at the end of their consignment period as a courtesy, however it is the responsibility of the consignee to contact us by the end of the the 90 day period should they require return of any unsold goods. When we contact you for your unsold items, if we do not hear back from you within 7 days after we have either emailed you or left you a message regarding your unsold items, we will donate the unsold goods to a local charity. We simply do not have the space to store unclaimed items. If you have any questions or concerns, we are happy to help you! Our hours of operation are Monday through Friday 9 am -5 pm PST,  you can reach us via email or by telephone, if you leave a message one of our staff will get back to you within 24 hours.
